At least 16 people, including tourists, have been injured in two road accidents in south Kashmir.
Five tourists from Calcutta sustained injuries after their taxi overturned at Chandenwari, 16 kms from the tourist resort Pahalgam.
The driver of the taxi has also been inured, however, none of them have received serious wounds.
In Kulgam district, ten passengers were injured after a minibus, travelling from DH Pora village to Kulgam town, overturned at Matergam.
Station House Officer, Kulgam, Rafiq Ahmed told freepress that it was a speedy bus and its driver lost control after he drove over a ditch.
Unconfirmed reports say five of the injured in Kulgam are critical and have been shifted to Srinagar for treatment.
