‘A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by one Kashmir Lal alias Sonu, resident of Kanachak,’ police sources here today said.
They said one Rashpal Chand yesterday lodged a complaint with the Police that the accused kidnapped her niece and allegedly raped her following which a case under Section 363 and 376 of RPC was registered.
‘A manhunt was launched and the accused was arrested,’ police said adding that the matter was being investigated.
