Earthquake shakes buildings in Delhi, J&K

Moderate intensity earthquake occurred in Afghanistan this afternoon tremors of which were felt in Kashmir valley as well at about 2:56 pm.

According to USGS, the 5.7 magnitude earthquake had its epicentre near Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan, about 96 kilometres far from Kabul. The geographic coordinates of the epicentre are 34.570° N and 70.228° E.

The tremor of the quake was reportedly felt in Delhi and National Capital Area as well.
