Srinagar Passport Office To Start ‘Tatkal’ Service

With a paradigm shift in the processing system of Passport services from NIC to PSP, some modifications have been made to provide ‘Tatkal’ facility to applicants.

“Some modifications have been made wherein Tatkal facility to certain categories of the applicants of Jammu and Kashmir have been provided,” Regional Passport Officer Firdous Iqbal told KNS on Thursday.

He said the applicants while filling the online applications can check for these in the website www.passportindia.gov.in.

According to RP officer, after accepting of such applications by the system, the passport office Srinagar will process the cases accordingly in light of the received documents.
