Mumbai Woman Dies in Kashmir Hotel

A woman from Mumbai who was on a trip to the valley was found dead at the ski resort of Gulmarg, police said on Friday.

The 69-year-old lady, wife of Madan Lal Mayen, died in a room of the Grand Mumtaz hotel.

A police statement said she died of natural causes. She was a resident of Door Darshan Building, 14 Sector, Mumbai.

Her body was handed over to her husband.

Meanwhile a 65-year-old man committed suicide at his home in Noorkha village of northern Kashmir’s
Baramulla district.

Ghulam Qadir died at the medical institute in Srinagar on Thursday.
