Geelani to return on March 7

Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani would arrive in the Valley on March 7.

Geelani’s son Naseem Geelani told Greater Kashmir that his father would return on March 7.

The veteran separatist leader had gone to New Delhi in December 2012. He was put under house arrest in New Delhi after Muhammad Afzal Guru was hanged in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail on February 9.

Siege around his house was lifted nearly 15 days after his arrest.
