41 candidates in fray for 4 MLC seats in Jammu and Kashmir

Forty one candidates are in fray for four seats of MLC from the Panchayat quota of Jammu and Kashmir state, officials said on Sunday.
This was stated by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Jammu, who are also the returning Officers two divisions of the state.
The last date for withdrawal of forms in Jammu division is on Monday, November 19, 2012 upto 3 p.m. In case of necessity, polling will be held on December 03,2012.
The scrutiny of the forms was conducted by the returning Officer in Jammu today in presence of the contesting candidates and for Kashmir division on Saturday.
