The bomb which was placed in a car exploded near Scheme Chowk located on Kohat road targeted a van of the Pakistan Air Force which was destroyed..
Ten shops located in the area along with a passenger bus were also damaged in the explosion.
Police and the bomb disposal squad have arrived at the site of the blast.
