A militant has been killed in a gunfight with the army in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district, Army say.The militant was killed after a gunfight started late on Saturday in Mohra village, IANS quoted Lt-Col. JS Brar, spokesman of army’s Srinagar based 15th
corps, as saying.
The identity of the militant is yet to be known.
“The gunfight has stopped in the area, but the searches are on,” Lt-Col. Brar said.
Mohra village is situated on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway, 78 km from capital Srinagar.
